THE IMPORTANCE OF AN

  IMMIGRATION CERTIFIED SPECIALIST

The A.D.I.L.A. Law Group’s Valerie Curtis-Diop, is more than just an expert in the field of immigration; she is a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law. In order for the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization to approve an attorney, the attorney must:

  • Take and pass a written examination in Immigration and Nationality Law.

  • Demonstrate a high level of experience in Immigration and Nationality Law.

  • Fulfill ongoing education requirements.

  • AND Been favorably evaluated by other attorneys and judges familiar with her work.

According to the 23rd Annual Report, released in 2010 by the California Board of Legal Specialization of the State Bar of California, there are only 151 Certified Specialists in Immigration and Nationality Law in California.

Obtaining a certified specialist as an attorney is advantageous to the client because they can rest assured that the attorney they are hiring is among the top attorneys in the field, has an impeccable reputation and is more than competent in immigration and nationality law.
